Attack powers past Mississauga 2-1 on goals from Franchini and Carroll @NHLdotcom

OWEN SOUND, Ont. - The Owen Sound Attack scored two power-play goals in five opportunities to edge the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors 2-1 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday night.

Marc Franchini opened the scoring late in the first period and Marcus Carroll notched the eventual game-winner in the second for the Attack (5-5-2-1), who were outshot 47-30.

Mississauga (6-5-0-0) ended Owen Sound netminder Scott Stajcer's shutout bid early in the third period on a goal by Zac Rinaldo.

Stajcer finished the game with 46 saves, while St. Michael's Majors goaltender Chris Carrozzi stopped 28 shots.
