AT&T SportsNet, formerly ROOT SPORTS, will broadcast two Pittsburgh Penguins preseason games, beginning with Pittsburgh's visit to Detroit on Monday, September 25 at 7:30 PM at the Red Wings' brand new Little Caesars Arena.

AT&T SportsNet will also televise the Penguins' annual "Free Game for Kids" on Saturday, September 30 against the Columbus Blue Jackets at 3:00 PM at PPG Paints Arena.

Newcomer Steve Mears will handle play-by-play duties for both games on AT&T SportsNet, alongside color commentator Bob Errey and rink side reporter Dan Potash.

All seven Penguins preseason games can be heard on the team's official radio flagship, 105.9 The X, beginning with Tuesday's exhibition opener against the Buffalo Sabres at 7:00 PM at Pegula Ice Arena on Penn State University's campus.

Josh Getzoff will handle radio play-by-play duties for six of the preseason games with Phil Bourque. Hall of Fame broadcaster Mike Lange will call the "Free Game for Kids" alongside Bourque.

Fans can also watch the Penguins on television during the Kraft Hockeyville USA contest against the St. Louis Blues on Sunday, September 24 at 8:00 PM. That game, which will be played at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, will be nationally broadcast by NBC Sports Network.
