Asuchak scores twice as Cougars double up Blazers 4-2 @NHLdotcom

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - Spencer Asuchak scored twice as the Prince George Cougars defeated the visiting Kamloops Blazers 4-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Chase Witala and Reid Jackson also scored for the Cougars (24-46-2) while Troy Bourke chipped in with two assists.

Ryan Hanes and Tim Bozon had a goal apiece for the Blazers (47-20-5), who finish the regular season as the second seed in the Western Conference.

Devon Fordyce made 38 saves for the win while Cam Lanigan stopped 18 shots in defeat.

Prince George went 1 for 3 on the power play as Kamloops failed to score on either of their chances with the man advantage.
