Arnaud Jacquemet scores overtime winner as Kootenay edges Medicine Hat @NHLdotcom

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Arnaud Jacquemet scored 33 seconds into overtime as the Kootenay Ice edged the Medicine Hat Tigers 4-3 Saturday night to take a 2-0 series lead.

Jacquemet also scored with 0.2 seconds left in the third period with the goaltender pulled to send the game to overtime. Ben Maxwell and Dustin Sylvester also counted for the Ice.

Sean Ringrose, Travis Dunstall and Mark Isherwood scored singles for the Tigers.

Ryan Holfeld made 35 saves in goal for Medicine Hat. Kris Lazaruk turned away 32 shots for Kootenay.

The series resumes Tuesday in Cranbrook.
