Just watching Jakob Chychrun's box jump will make your legs hurt

Coyotes defensemen posted video of training session with impressive feat @NHLdotcom

It's workout video season on social media for NHL players and Jakob Chychrun has the early leader for crazy display of athleticism to beat.

The Arizona Coyotes defenseman did a seated box jump exhibiting some impressive lower body explosiveness.

Tweet from @j_chychrun7: First box jumps of the summer.

Chychrun is 6-foot-2, so that box appears to be somewhere around 55 inches tall and he stuck the landing.

He even motivated a young fan to build up his lower body strength.

Tweet from @gdumas727: @j_chychrun7 not quite on your level but putting in the work. Thanks for helping inspire him to work out!

Tweet from @j_chychrun7: This is awesome. Future NHL'er with that work ethic! Keep it up buddy, looking great!

Last year, we had Ottawa Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson's one-handed upside down handstand and this year we've got Chychrun's insane box jump.

Tweet from @SeguinSports: Upside down captain. Erik Karlsson goes through summer workout session at OAC. #Sens

There's still plenty of time for other players to dazzle with their offseason training feats. They just have to keep those phone cameras juiced up and ready to go.
