The Game
The Arizona Coyotes will try to build off a rare bit of momentum when they visit the Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday.
Coyotes defenseman Alex Goligoski scored with 14.4 seconds left in overtime to give Arizona a 4-3 victory at the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday. The victory ended the Coyotes' 11-game losing streak (0-10-1) and left them tied with the 1943-44 New York Rangers for the longest losing streak to start an NHL season.
Detroit also ended a losing streak in its most recent game, having lost six straight (0-5-1) before a 3-2 shootout victory against the Florida Panthers on Saturday. The Red Wings have won 12 straight shootouts, dating back to the 2015-16 season.

Coyotes rookie forward Clayton Keller has nine points (five goals, four assists) in a six-game point streak. Keller's pass to Goligoski set up the winning goal in overtime on Monday.
Red Wings goaltender Jimmy Howard has a .948 save percentage in his past three starts and has stopped all six shots he has faced this season in shootouts.
