Antropov and Ponikarovsky activated from IR @NHL

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -The Toronto Maple Leafs activated center Nik Antropov and left wing Alexei Ponikarovsky from injured reserve on Tuesday.

Antropov missed 17 games due to an ankle injury. Ponikarovsky had sat out 11 games with a shoulder injury.

Ponikarovsky is fourth on the team with 11 goals. Antropov has five goals and six assists in 18 games.

To make room on the roster, the Maple Leafs assigned right wing Ben Ondrus and center Kris Newbury to Toronto of the American Hockey League.
