Anthony Nigro scores twice as Ottawa 67's shutout Brampton Battalion 4-0

BRAMPTON, Ont. - Anthony Nigro scored twice and Petr Mrazek stopped 25 shots for the shutout as the Ottawa 67's blanked the Brampton Battalion 4-0 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday.

After a scoreless first period, Nigro converted a centring feed from Thomas Nesbitt to make it 1-0 in the second.

Dalton Smith added to the visitors' lead at the 6:33 mark before Nigro made it 3-0 while the 67's enjoyed a two-man advantage.

Tyler Toffoli rounded out the scoring at 9:55 of the third period.

The win improved Ottawa's record to 12-11-5 while Brampton saw their record fall to 12-11-4.

Battalion goaltender Patrick Killeen made 30 saves for the loss.
