Anthony Bardaro scores in overtime as Chiefs down Raiders 3-2 in WHL action

SPOKANE, Wash. - Anthony Bardaro scored at 4:10 of overtime Friday to lift the Spokane Chiefs over the Prince Albert Raiders 3-2 in the Western Hockey League.

Prince Albert (3-6-2) led 2-1 after the first. The Raiders broke through when defenceman Antoine Corbin flipped the puck over the Chiefs in the neutral zone and Justin Maylan won the race to score at 4:33.

Corbin Baldwin got the Chiefs (4-2-1) on board at 14:40. From the right point he threw the puck hard to the left corner than ricocheted in off Corbins' skate.

Prince Albert's Harrison Ruopp then fed Mike Winther for a breakaway goal at 17:14.

The equalizer in the third period also went in off a Raider. Collin Valcourt won the race to the puck in the right corner and threw it along the goal-line, where it went off goalie Eric Williams and in with 10 minutes to play.

Williams finished with 39 saves, while Mac Engel had 20 for Spokane.
