Andrighetto with goal and two assists as Bulldogs hold on to beat Flames @NHLdotcom

GLEN FALLS, N.Y. - Sven Andrighetto scored once and set up two more as the Hamilton Bulldogs hung on to defeat the host Adirondack Flames 5-3 on Tuesday in American Hockey League action.

Darren Dietz, Nathan Beaulieu, Drayson Bowman and Christian Thomas also scored for the Bulldogs (10-9-2), who build up a 4-0 lead before Adirondack found its offence.

Garnet Hathaway, Ben Hanowski and Devin Setoguchi scored to bring the Flames (12-9-1) within a goal early in the third period, however Bowman secured the win with an empty-net goal for Hamilton.

Joey MacDonald made 34 saves for the Bulldogs as Adirondack's Joni Ortio kicked out 19-of-23 shots in defeat.

Hamilton went 1 for 2 on the power play while the Flames failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
