Andreoff scores twice as the Generals beat the Petes 9-1 @NHL

OSHAWA, Ont. - Andy Andreoff had two goals and an assist Sunday night as the Oshawa Generals crushed the Peterborough Petes 9-1 in Ontario Hockey League action.

Emerson Clark, Scott Sabourin, Peter Hermenegildo, Boone Jenner, Scott Laughton Lucas Lessio and Dan Maggio also scored for Oshawa (13-14-4). Christian Thomas chipped in four assists.

Austin Watson scored the lone Peterborough (14-10-5) goal.

Kevin Bailie made 28 saves for the victory.

Andrew D'Agostini got the start in goal for the Petes, but was pulled after allowing the first three goals. Mike Morrison replaced him and allowed two goals before the first period was out and D'Agostini found himself back in the goal to start the second.

Both teams went 1-for-3 on the power play.

Peterborough's Matt Puempel may face some supplemental discipline from the league after being assessed a five minute major and game misconduct for a check to the head on Oshawa's Sebastian Uvira in the second period.
