Andreoff and Uvira two goals each to lead the Generals over the Rangers 6-3

KITCHENER, Ont. - Andy Andreoff and Sebastian Uvira scored two goals each as the Oshawa Generals defeated the host Kitchener Rangers 6-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Christian Thomas had a goal and two assists for the Generals (18-18-4) while Scott Laughton scored once and set up another.

Michael Catenacci led the Rangers (25-11-1) offensively with a goal and an assist as Brent Pedersen and Andrew Crescenzi added singles.

Daniel Altshuller made 35 saves for the win while Franky Palazzese allowed five goals on 30 shots before being pulled in the second period.

Jack Moylan came on in relief and stopped 15 of 16 shots.

Oshawa went 2 for 5 on the power play as Kitchener went 1 for 4
