DUCKS (26-13-9) at WILD (29-10-5)
9 p.m. ET; FS-N, PRIME, NHL.TV

Ducks team scope

The Anaheim Ducks are 8-1-1 in their past 10 games and have points in 13 of their past 14 games (9-1-4) and enter the game in first place in the Pacific Division with 61 points. Anaheim is two points behind the Minnesota Wild for first place in the Western Conference. Their last loss in regulation was against the Wild on Jan. 8. "I don't know if it's a measuring stick," coach Randy Carlyle said. "I thought that the last game we played against Minnesota…they won the special teams battle in the hockey game, and they were better in the game. They had the puck more than we did and they executed to a higher level…That's really what we're looking for in our team [tonight]." The Ducks are 3-0-2 in their past five road games. Goaltender John Gibson, who made 21 saves in a 2-1 win against the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday, will make his fourth straight start. Gibson is 7-1-1 with two shutouts in his past nine starts.

Wild team scope

Minnesota coach Bruce Boudreau will face his former team for the second time this season after being fired by Anaheim on April 29. "I wish we didn't play them at all quite frankly," Boudreau said. "Not only are they a good team but I don't like playing against guys I really like, and there's a lot of players over there I really grew fond of." The Wild, 5-1-0 in the past six games and 18-2-1 in the past 21, are tied for first place in the Western Conference with the Chicago Blackhawks (63 points each). Minnesota is 10-2-0 in the past 12 home games and 15-5-0 in St. Paul this season. Goaltender Devan Dubnyk will start his fourth straight. He is 15-2-0 with 36 goals allowed in his past 17 starts.
