Max Comtois surgery

Max Comtois will be out six weeks for the Anaheim Ducks after having surgery on his right hand Thursday.

The forward had a small bone removed from his hand. He has missed the past three games and was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
Comtois has one assist in 13 games this season after leading the Ducks with 33 points (16 goals, 17 assists) in 55 games last season. Selected by Anaheim in the second round (No. 50) of the 2017 NHL Draft, he has scored 52 points (23 goals, 29 assists) in 107 games over four NHL seasons.
The Ducks (10-5-3) next play at the Nashville Predators on Monday (8 p.m. ET; BSSO, BSSC, BSSD, ESPN+, NHL LIVE).
