Miller was activated from injured reserve on Saturday and dressed as John Gibson's backup for Anaheim's 4-1 win at the Tampa Bay Lightning. Ducks defenseman Sami Vatanen, who missed the first nine games of the season recovering from shoulder surgery, received 17:12 of ice time in his season debut Saturday. Scott Darling will start in goal for the Hurricanes, who have lost three of four, including a 2-1 loss to the St. Louis Blues on Friday. Jeff Skinner scored his team-leading sixth goal for Carolina.
