Americans pick up 13th straight win by beating the Silvertips @NHLdotcom

EVERETT, Wash. - Ty Rimmer stopped all 22 shots he faced, and the Tri-City Americans continued their franchise-record winning streak by defeating the host Everett Silvertips 4-0 on Saturday night in Western Hockey League action.

The victory was the 13th straight for the Americans.

Malte Stromwall, Brendan Shinnimin, Adam Hughesman and Mason Wilgosh all scored for Tri-City (32-7-0).

Everett (7-24-8) goaltender Kent Simpson stopped 22 of the 26 shots during the first two periods. Austin Lotz came in for the third period and denied all 12 he faced.

The Americans were 1 for 4 on the power play while the Silvertips went 0 for 6.
