After a busy Saturday that saw 26 teams in action, the NHL now prepares for a two-game schedule on Sunday, with both contests taking place on the West Coast.
The action begins at 8 p.m. ET, when the Anaheim Ducks
will host the Phoenix Coyotes
at the Honda Center. The Ducks (10-11-3) have won three in a row and have outscored their opponents by a 9-4 margin along the way. They blanked the Chicago Blackhawks
in a 3-0 victory on Friday -- the same night that Phoenix (14-11-1) skated away with a 5-2 win against the Dallas Stars
at Jobing.com Arena.
In the nightcap, the Pacific Division leading San Jose Sharks
will battle the Vancouver Canucks
at General Motors Place at 10 p.m. ET. The Canucks (14-11-0) will enter the game with plenty of momentum following Saturday's 7-3 win on home ice against the Edmonton Oilers
. San Jose (17-6-4), which was idle on Saturday, earned a 5-4 win at Edmonton on Friday.
