Logan Cooley, No. 2 in
NHL Central Scouting's midterm ranking of North American skaters
eligible for the 2022 NHL Draft, will head a talented group of United States-born players participating in the 2022 BioSteel All-American Game at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan, on Monday (4 p.m. ET; NHLN).

The 10th annual game, which includes 44 players eligible for the 2022 draft at Bell Centre in Montreal on July 7-8, will feature two teams consisting of 22 players each, drawn from the USA Hockey National Team Development Program Under-18 Team and the United States Hockey League.
Players were selected by USA Hockey in conjunction with Central Scouting.
"This is a terrific event that showcases our top American players and beyond," USA Hockey assistant executive director of hockey operations John Vanbiesbrouck said. "Working together with the USHL and NHL, we're excited for a historic 10th year for this event."
Cooley, a 17-year-old left-shot center who plays for the NTDP Under-18 team, has scored 34 points (14 goals, 20 assists), two shorthanded goals and has taken 74 shots on goal in 24 games.
"Cooley is the one who will take the puck to the net, go to the dirty areas, pay the price," Central Scouting director Dan Marr said. "He's got the skills to bury his chances, and is every bit as deserving to be in that conversation for the No. 1 pick overall in the 2022 draft
(No. 4, New Jersey Devils), and forwards
Tyler Boucher
(No. 10, Ottawa Senators), Cole Sillinger (No. 12, Columbus Blue Jackets),
Matt Coronato
(No. 13, Calgary Flames),
Chaz Lucius
(No. 18, Winnipeg Jets) and
Mackie Samoskevich
(No. 24, Florida Panthers).
Anthony Noreen (Tri-City, USHL) will coach Team Blue, with Ryan Petersen (Green Bay, USHL) as his assistant. Brock Sheahan (Chicago, USHL) will coach Team White, with Cody Chupp, Muskegon, USHL) as his assistant.
