Aliu scores a pair of goals in London's 8-1 drubbing of Peterborough @NHLdotcom

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Akim Aliu scored twice as the London Knights bombed the Peterborough Petes 8-1 in Ontario Hockey League play Thursday.

John Carlson had a goal and two assists for London (25-7-0-1), while Jason Wilson, Tucker Hunter and Phil McRae had a goal and assist each. Justin Taylor and Jared Knight also scored. Brett Theberge had the lone goal for the Petes (15-19-0-1), breaking rookie goalie Michael Zador's shutout bid 7:55 into the third period.

Zador made 30 saves while the Petes' Ryan Daniels stopped 41 shots in a losing cause.
