Alfredsson keeps Senators and Swedes together @NHLdotcom
A couple of hours before the 2012 Molson Canadian NHL All-Star Player Fantasy Draft, Daniel Alfredsson said he would like to be able to grab his three teammates on the Ottawa Senators.

He wasn't kidding.

Alfredsson's team for Sunday's 2012 Tim Hortons NHL All-Star Game will include four Senators playing before the home folks at Scotiabank Place. Alfredsson grabbed defenseman Erik Karlsson and center Jason Spezza with his first two picks, then added forward Milan Michalek in the 13th round.

Karlsson is tops among all defensemen this season with 47 points in 50 games, while Spezza is tied for 10th in the scoring race with 50 points. Michalek, who missed five games with injuries, has 23 goals in 47 games.

Alfredsson and assistant captain Henrik Lundqvist, also loaded up on fellow Swedes -- including Karlsson. He united the Sedin twins, who played on opposing teams last season, by grabbing Daniel with his ninth choice and Henrik four picks later. The last Swede available among the veterans, Vancouver defenseman Alexander Edler, fell to Team Alfredsson with the second choice in the 15th round -- by which time both teams had to complete their list of six defensemen.
