Alderson with four points as the Greyhounds defeat the Wolves 7-3

SUDBURY, Ont. - Brandon Alderson scored once and set up three more as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds defeated the host Sudbury Wolves 7-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Andrew Fritsch scored twice for the Greyhounds (21-24-5), Nick Cousins had a goal and two assists, Ryan Sproul and Carson Dubchak each scored a goal and an assist while Corey Durocher added a single goal.

Nicholas Baptiste scored twice for the Wolves (25-18-4) as Derek Schoenmakers had the other.

Jack Cambell made 31 saves for the win while Johan Mattsson allowed four goals on 21 shots before being pulled in the second period.

Joel Vienneau stopped 10 of 13 shots in relief.

Sault Ste. Marie went 2 for 4 on the power play as Sudbury failed to score on seven opportunties with the man advantage.
