Alberga scores winner as the Sting edge the Frontenacs 2-1 @NHLdotcom

KINGSTON, Ont. - Brandon Hope made 27 saves as the Sarnia Sting defeated the host Kingston Frontenacs 2-1 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Domenic Alberga scored the winning goal for the Sting (24-19-6), who snapped a four-game losing streak, and Connor Murphy had the other.

Cody Alcock scored the lone goal for the Frontenacs (14-31-4), who came into the game with just three wins in their previous 10 outings.

Igor Bobkov made 38 saves in a losing effort.

Sarnia went 1 for 4 on the power play while Kingston scored once on six opportunities with the man advantage.
