Akeson scores twice as Kitchener Rangers beat Sudbury Wolves 5-2 @NHLdotcom

SUDBURY, Ont. - Jason Akeson scored twice to lead the Kitchener Rangers past the Sudbury Wolves 5-2 in Ontario Hockey League play Friday night.

Jeff Skinner had a goal and an assist for Kitchener (32-14-4), while Julian Cimadamore and Tyler Randell also found the back of the net. Brandon Maxwell made 29 saves for the win.

Matias Sointu and Marcus Foligno supplied the offence for Sudbury (20-25-5), while Andrew Loverock stopped 11 of 15 shots. He was replaced by Alain Valiquette, who saved all nine shots he faced.
