Agozzino scores game-winner as OHL beats Russia Selects 3-2 at ADT Challenge

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Andrew Agozzino of the Niagara IceDogs scored the game-winning goal in the third period as the Ontario Hockey League all-star team beat the Russia Selects 3-2 in Game 4 of the ADT Canada-Russia Challenge on Monday.

John Tavares of the Oshawa Generals and P.K. Subban of the Belleville Bulls also scored for the OHL, while Taylor Hall of the Windsor Spitfires added two assists.

Nikita Klyukin and Pavel Chernov replied for the Russian Selects.

Mike Murphy of the Bulls and Trevor Cann of the London Knights combined for 27 saves for the OHL, while Sergey Gayduchenko stopped 36 shots for Russia.

Canada's junior all-star teams are now 3-1 in the six-game series. The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League split their two games with the Russian Selects before the OHL swept their leg of the tournament.

The Russians finish their tour with two games against the Western Hockey League. Game 5 goes Wednesday in Swift Current, Sask., with the final game in the series scheduled for Thursday in Prince Albert, Sask.
