ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Andrew Agozzino and Drew Schiestel had a goal and an assist each as the Niagara IceDogs snapped a five-game losing streak with a 4-2 win over the Peterborough Petes in Ontario Hockey League action Monday.
Jay Gilbert and Andrew Merrett had the other goals for the IceDogs (3-3-1-3), who won after losing three of their last five games in shootouts.
Tony Romano and Brett Theberge, with a shorthanded marker, replied for Peterborough (4-7-0-0).
The IceDogs oushot the Petes 44-36, with rookie goaltender Mark Visentin posting his first career win with a strong third period as the IceDogs finished the game with two men in the penalty box.
