Adin Hill
agreed to terms on a two-year contract with the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday to avoid a salary arbitration hearing.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
The 25-year-old goalie was a restricted free agent. He was 9-9-1 with a 2.74 goals-against average, .913 save percentage and two shutouts in 19 games for the Arizona Coyotes last season.
He was traded to San Jose on July 17 with a seventh-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft for goalie Josef Korenar and a second-round pick in the 2022 draft.
"We're pleased to get Adin under contract solidifying our goaltending position for the coming season," Sharks general manager Doug Wilson said.

Adin Hill agrees to contract with Sharks

Selected by Arizona in the third round (No. 76) of the 2015 NHL Draft, Hill is 19-21-4 with a 2.79 GAA, .909 save percentage and three shutouts in 49 NHL games (41 starts).
Goalie James Reimer signed a two-year contract with the Sharks on July 28 after playing last season with the Carolina Hurricanes. He was 15-5-2 with a 2.66 GAA and .906 save percentage in 22 games.
