Adam Zamec's late tiebreaker lifts 67's to 5-4 victory over Petes @NHLdotcom

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Adam Zamec broke a 4-4 tie with 2:16 left in regulation as the Ottawa 67's slipped past the Peterborough Petes 5-4 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday.

It was the 67's first lead of the game and helped them move four points ahead of the Petes for fifth spot in the Eastern Conference, one point behind the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors.

Mathieu Methot had two goals and Martin Paryzek a goal and two assists for Ottawa (25-24-2-3). Michael Latta also scored.

Justin Soryal and pat Daley had a goal and assist each for the Petes (24-27-0-3) while Zach Harnden and Kenzie Sheppard also scored.

Chris Perugini made 23 saves for the win while Trevor Cann stopped 32 in a losing cause.
