Acadie-Bathurst sends defenceman Paris to Chicoutimi in QMJHL deal @NHLdotcom

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's Acadie-Bathurst Titan sent defenceman Drew Paris to the Chicoutimi Sagueneens on Wednesday for 2009 and 2010 fourth-round draft picks.

Paris has 27 points (seven goals, 20 assists) in 37 games this season.

Also on Wednesday, the P.E.I. Rocket sent centre Matthew Lachaine and right-winger Jeremiah Coon-Come to the Val-d'Or Foreurs for defenceman Jason Legault and right-winger Maxime Levesque.

The Victoriaville Tigres sent goaltender Nicholas Deslongchamps and a 2009 ninth-round pick to the Shawinigan Cataractes for netminder Jean-Michel Fortier.

The QMJHL trade deadline is Jan. 8.
