Alex Pietrangelo and Brayden Schenn will make their first appearances at an NHL All-Star Game in a couple of weeks in Tampa Bay, and look to become the latest Blues to leave their mark on the mid-season showcase.

The most recent current Blue to serve as a first timer at the All-Star Game was Vladimir Tarasenko in 2015 and was joined that year by goalie Brian Elliott and Kevin Shattenkirk, who also made his All-Star debut in that game.
During that first of three consecutive All-Star Game trips, Tarasenko contributed four assists during his time on the ice.

Tarasenko isn't the only Blues player to have made a memorable appearance at his first NHL All-Star Game.

Hull was joined in the 1991 All-Star Game by Adam Oates, who had a goal and four assists in his very first visit.
Pietrangelo and Schenn will have their opportunity to excel in their first All-Star appearances when festivities kick off in Tampa on Jan. 27 and 28. The NHL All-Star Skills Competition will take place Jan. 27 at 6 p.m. CT., with the 2018 NHL All-Star Game the next day on Jan. 28 at 2:30 p.m. CT.
