WINNIPEG -- Defenseman Brent Seabrook scored 1:02 into overtime to give the Chicago Blackhawks a 5-4 win against the Winnipeg Jets at MTS Centre on Friday.

Artemi Panarin led a 2-on-1 rush before sending a cross-ice pass to Seabrook that he one-timed past Winnipeg goaltender Ondrej Pavelec from the right circle for his 14th goal. Panarin also scored twice; he one-timed Marcus Kruger's pass past Pavelec with 4:45 remaining in the third period to tie the game 4-4.

Kane scored with 2:38 remaining in the period. He had one goal in his past 10 games.

WINNIPEG -- The Chicago Blackhawks will be without defenseman Duncan Keith when they visit the Winnipeg Jets at MTS Centre on Friday.

The NHL suspended Keith indefinitely for a match penalty in a 4-1 road loss against the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday. Spreading out Keith's workload will be a test for Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville; Keith's average ice time of 25:14 leads the team. Trevor van Riemsdyk will replace Keith on Chicago's top defensive pairing with Niklas Hjalmarsson.

Illness sidelines Blackhawks' Hossa

One goal from 500, Chicago forward won't face Jets on Friday

Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa won't make the trip to face the Winnipeg Jets on Friday at MTS Centre (8 p.m. ET; CSN-CH, TSN3, NHL.TV) because of an illness.

Hossa is one goal shy of 500 for his NHL career after scoring against the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday.

Goaltender Corey Crawford also won't travel with the Blackhawks. Crawford continues to recover from an injury but is showing progress, according to coach Joel Quenneville, and could get on the ice this weekend.
