EDMONTON -- A strong outing by goaltender John Gibson helped the Anaheim Ducks conclude a five-game road trip with a win and pulled them within a point of the Los Angeles Kings for first place in the Pacific Division.

Gibson made 27 saves for the Ducks in a 2-1 win against the Edmonton Oilers at Rexall Place on Monday.

EDMONTON -- Anaheim Ducks forward Ryan Kesler will return to the lineup against the Edmonton Oilers at Rexall Place on Monday after missing two games because of a family issue.

Kesler rejoined the Ducks in Edmonton for the final game of a five-game road trip (2-1-1).

EDMONTON -- Edmonton Oilers forward Nail Yakupov downplayed reports out of Russia he asked to be moved prior to the 2016 NHL Trade Deadline on Feb. 29.

The No. 1 selection in the 2012 NHL Draft has six goals and 19 points with a minus-16 rating for the Oilers. Yakupov will be on a line with left wing Taylor Hall and center Leon Draisaitl against the Anaheim Ducks on Monday (9 p.m. ET; FS-W, SNW, NHL.TV).
