ELLIOTT POSTS THIRD STRAIGHT SHUTOUT TO HELP BLUES CLINCH PLAYOFF BERTH
Brian Elliott (15 saves) had his third consecutive shutout to lead the St. Louis Blues to their ninth victory in 11 games and clinch their fifth consecutive playoff berth.

* At 44-22-9 (97 points), the Blues also moved pulled even with the idle Dallas Stars (44-22-9, 97 points) in terms of points for first place in the Central Division and Western Conference. Dallas holds the ROW tiebreaker (DAL: 42, STL: 39).

Lightning defenseman Stralman out indefinitely

Fractures leg in win against Islanders, could return during playoffs

TAMPA -- Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Anton Stralman will be out indefinitely after he sustained a non-displaced fracture of his left fibula playing against the New York Islanders on Friday.

Lightning coach Jon Cooper said Stralman's season is not over and he could return during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which begin April 13.

TAMPA -- Tyler Johnson scored the go-ahead goal midway through the third period, and the Tampa Bay Lightning moved back into first place in the Atlantic Division with a 7-4 win against the New York Islanders at Amalie Arena on Friday.

Johnson broke a 4-4 tie by beating Thomas Greiss at 10:09 for his 13th goal of the season, and defenseman Jason Garrison scored 23 seconds later for a 6-4 lead. Victor Hedman hit the empty net with 1:25 remaining.
