MONTREAL -- While the Minnesota Wild were defeating the Montreal Canadiens, they had constant updates right in front of them on their progress elsewhere in their bid for a berth into the Stanley Cup Playoffs. 

Mikael Granlund had his first NHL two-goal game and Devan Dubnyk made 30 saves to give Minnesota a 4-1 win against Montreal at Bell Centre on Saturday.

MONTREAL -- Montreal Canadiens center Alex Galchenyuk has an opportunity against the Minnesota Wild at Bell Centre on Saturday to match a feat accomplished only by Maurice Richard in the NHL team's storied history.

The 22-year-old Galchenyuk, who has 11 goals in his past eight games, had his third straight two-goal game in Montreal's 3-2 win against the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday.
