DETROIT -- Justin Abdelkader scored with 4:36 remaining in the third period to give the Detroit Red Wings a come-from-behind, 3-2 win against the Winnipeg Jets at Joe Louis Arena on Thursday.
Abdelkader had an assist, and Dylan Larkin and Jonathan Ericsson scored for Detroit (33-23-11), which trailed 2-0 in the second period but ended a three-game losing streak. Petr Mrazek made 23 saves.
"I thought our guys showed unbelievable compete level, I thought our compete level was awesome," Red Wings coach Jeff Blashill said. "I actually thought we started the game good. ... That's not an easy challenge, but I thought our guys came out and played great the rest of the game. We talked about it being a 60-minute game, and in the end we hung in there enough to win."
