PR-Graphic Awards Draft split

NEW YORK - The NHL today unveiled the official event logos for the 2023 NHL Awards™ and 2023 Upper Deck NHL Draft™, which are both set to take place in the City of Nashville in June. In addition, the NHL announced broadcast information for both events.

The 2023 NHL Awards will be held at Bridgestone Arena on Monday, June 26 and televised on TNT, Sportsnet and TVA Sports at 8 p.m. ET. This will mark the first time the event has taken place in the City of Nashville. The NHL Awards will again honor the best regular-season players in a wide range of categories, including most valuable player (Hart Trophy), outstanding goaltender (Vezina Trophy), outstanding defenseman (Norris Trophy) and outstanding rookie (Calder Trophy); the Ted Lindsay Award, which is presented annually to the "most outstanding player" in the NHL, as voted by fellow members of the National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA), also will be awarded.
The 2023 Upper Deck NHL Draft will also be held at Bridgestone Arena and will be held over two days. Round 1 will take place Wednesday, June 28 and will be televised on ESPN, Sportsnet and TVA Sports at 7 p.m. ET. Rounds 2-7 will take place on Thursday, June 29 and will be televised on NHL Network, Sportsnet and TVA Sports at 11 a.m. ET. NHL club executives, scouts and coaches will be present on the NHL Draft floor, while thousands of fans and hundreds of print, television and radio media are expected to attend. It will be the second time the Predators have hosted the NHL Draft and marks the 20-year anniversary of the 2003 edition, which was also held at Bridgestone Arena (then known as Gaylord Entertainment Center).
About the official event logos:
The 2023 NHL Awards logo features custom "AWARDS" typography encased in a diamond shape, highlighted with silver and gold metallic tones - reflective of the unique NHL awards and trophies.
The 2023 Upper Deck NHL Draft logo leans into the Nashville music scene with a modern and contemporary vibe. The abstract sound hole features six guitar strings, while the three stars are a nod to the state of Tennessee, as well as representing the League's future stars. The gold plate that showcases "DRAFT" typography is inspired by a guitar pickup.
