Instagram and TikTok feeds will fill with videos of fans shooting pucks through their living rooms and dangling across driveways, and other fun videos.

To submit videos, fans should visit NHL.com/FanSkills. Multiple submissions are allowed. A select number of fans who share videos may have their videos reposted by the NHL. A select number of fans whose videos are curated by the NHL may be named to NHL Fan Skills™ Class of 2023 in February 2023. Participants
▪ Eight shooters; four teams pairing players

Format
▪ Single elimination tournament
▪ Players compete head-to-head
▪ Players are required to hit all targets before attempting to dunk their opponents.

Winner
▪ The player to dunk their opponents first
Tie
▪ If any matchup ends with the opponent dropping in to the dunk tank at the same time, players will compete again.
Chipotle NHL Pitch 'n Puck™
Using a combination of hockey and golf shots, six NHL All-Stars will play a par 4 featuring an island green. Lowest score wins the Chipotle NHL Pitch 'n Puck.
Participants
▪ Six players
Format
▪ Best score wins
Winner
▪ The player who successfully sinks the puck/ball in the hole with the fewest shots
Tie Situation
▪ If, at the completion of the event, there is a tie for the fewest shots, the longest drive will determine the winner.
Discover NHL Tendy Tandem
Participants
▪ Eight goalies
Winner
▪ The goalie tandem with the most total points

Procedure/Rules
▪ One goalie from each division will be designated the shooting goalie and one the in-net goalie.
▪ Central vs Pacific and Atlantic vs Metro
▪ The shooting goalie from a division will take a shot from a designated mark.
▪ Three points will be earned if the shot goes in the hole, two points if shot hits the in-net target, and no points if the shot misses the net.
▪ The in-net goalie from the opposing division will face 3, 2 or 1 player(s), depending on the points earned by the shooting goalie.
▪ Players start from center ice, on referees' instruction. Players must shoot on the rush, and NHL shootout rules generally apply (drop passes are allowed).
▪ A save earns the in-net goalie the points, based on the number of players faced.
▪ Play continues until all pucks have been shot and is repeated for the second goalie pairing.
Tie Situation
▪ If, at the completion of the event, there is a tie for the most points, the winning goalie tandem will be the goalie tandem with the most saves. If two or more goalies are tied in saves, the winning goalie will be the goalie who saved on the most three on none's, then the goalie who saved the most two on none's. In the event there is a tie based on this calculation, then the tied goalies will compete in a sudden death round of "Goalie Goals."

▪ Skater may choose direction of their lap.
▪ Skater is positioned a maximum of three feet behind the start line located on the penalty-box side of the center line.
▪ Skater starts on the referee's whistle.
▪ The timing device starts when the skater crosses the start line.
▪ In case of a clock malfunction, the official time will be recorded from the referee's stopwatch.
Tie Situation
▪ If, at the completion of the event, there is a tie for the fastest time, the tied players will skate again to determine the winner.
GEICO NHL Hardest Shot™
Participants
▪ A minimum of four players

▪ A single puck is positioned on the ice 30 feet from the center of the goal. A player, starting no further than the nearest blue line, may skate towards the puck and shoot it from its positioned spot into the goal.
▪ Shots must be on goal to be calculated, and all shots are recorded by the NHL puck tracking system.
▪ If a puck enters the goal uncalculated, due to a malfunction of the data capture, the shooter will be allowed an additional attempt.

Tie Situation
▪ If, at the completion of the event, there is a tie for the highest score, the tied players will take one final shot to determine the winner.
Honda NHL Accuracy Shooting™
Participants
▪ Eight players and four passers
Winner
▪ The player with the fastest time in the Final
Procedure / Rules
▪ Four destructible styrofoam targets 15 inches in diameter are attached to the goal posts, one target in each corner.

▪ The clock starts on referee's whistle.
▪ Shooters compete at opposite ends of the rink, alternating attempts.
▪ Any contact of a target by a puck that is shot is scored as a hit.
▪ The clock stops when a player has successfully hit all four targets.
▪ For the semi-final and final rounds, two nets with targets will be positioned side by side on the goal line. One player next to each net will pass pucks to a shooter positioned 25 feet out from the goal line.
▪ Shooters shoot simultaneously, and the clock starts on the referee's whistle.
Tie Situation
▪ If, at the completion of round one, there is a tie for the fourth position, the tied players will compete again to determine the player moving on.
▪ If any head-to-head matchup ends in a tie, the players will compete again.
