Avalanche Announces 2019 Training Camp Schedule

The Colorado Avalanche begins on-ice practices at its 2019 training camp on Friday, Sept. 13, the team announced on Thursday.
Colorado's four-day camp will be held from Sept. 13-16 at the team's practice facility, Family Sports Center in Centennial, Colorado. The squad will be split into two groups, with each taking the ice for approximately two hours each day.

Veteran players will report for medical and physical testing the day prior to the start of on-ice training on Thursday, Sept. 12. A full training camp schedule is below.
All Avalanche practices at Family Sports Center are open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Dates and times are subject to change, and the club will announce its full camp roster at a later date.
Colorado begins its six-game preseason schedule
following training camp on Tuesday, Sept. 17, against the Vegas Golden Knights at Pepsi Center. The Avs will face the Golden Knights, Dallas Stars and Minnesota Wild twice each during the exhibition slate, playing one outing at home and one away.
Prior to the NHL training camp, Avalanche rookies, top prospects and camp invites will face their peers from the Golden Knights, Los Angeles Kings and Arizona Coyotes at the
Anaheim Rookie Faceoff
at Great Park Ice in Irvine, California, from Sept. 7-10.
The Avs will hold two rookie camp practices for players participating in the Anaheim Rookie Faceoff: Sept. 6 at 9:30 a.m. MT at Family Sports Center and Sept. 9 at 9 a.m. PT at Great Park Ice in Irvine. Colorado will announce its 2019 rookie tournament roster in the near future.
