ST. PAUL -Minnesota Wild General Manager Paul Fenton announced today the team has invited 61 players to Wild training camp that starts on Friday, Sept. 14 at 9 a.m. at Xcel Energy Center. The following players from the Minnesota Wild team that finished third in the 2018 NHL Prospect Tournament in Traverse, City, Mich., have been invited to training camp:

Forwards: Connor Dewar, Gerry Fitzgerald, Damien Giroux, Jordan Greenway, Alex Khovanov, Ivan Lodnia, Mitch McLain, Darian Pilon, Drake Pilon, Mason Shaw and Dmitry Sokolov.
Defensemen: Louie Belpedio, Gustav Bouramman, Jacob Golden, Brennan Menell, Tate Olson and Josh Thrower.
Goaltenders: Dereck Baribeau and Kaapo Kahkonen.
The Wild also announced today that it has assigned forward Shawn Boudrias to Gatineau (QMJHL) and released forwards Sam Bitten, Mathieu Foget and Zeb Knutson, defensemen Marc-Oliver Duquette and Steven Johnson and goaltender Matthew Greenfield from their amateur tryouts. The 19 players added to the Wild training camp roster today join 42 players that were previously invited.
The team will hold an open practice for fans at Xcel Energy Center on Saturday, Sept. 15, from 9 to 11 a.m. as part of the "Flood The Rink" events taking place that day. Fans can enter Xcel Energy Center through Gates 1 and 2 beginning at 8:45 a.m.
Preseason tickets are on sale now at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations. Minnesota Wild regular season single-game tickets will go on sale at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office, and at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster(800-745-3000 or

). Minnesota opens the 2018-19 regular season at Colorado on Oct. 4 and hosts the Vegas Golden Knights in the home opener on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m. at Xcel Energy Center.
