Jets' Little leaves game against Lightning

Has X-rays of neck after collision with Stralman

TAMPA -- Winnipeg Jets center Bryan Little left the game Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the second period and did not return. 

Little was injured with 2:56 left when he collided with Lightning defenseman Anton Stralman.

TAMPA -- Steven Stamkos scored the game-winner in the fifth round of the shootout to lift the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 6-5 victory against the Winnipeg Jets at Amalie Arena on Thursday. 

Stamkos, who scored his 299th NHL goal in the first period, beat Jets goalie Ondrej Pavelec with a wrist shot high on the stick side.

TAMPA -- The Tampa Bay Lightning could be without forwards Ondrej Palat and Vladislav Namestnikov against the Winnipeg Jets at Amalie Arena on Thursday. 

Palat missed the morning skate with an illness that has hit several members of the team the past two weeks, including coach Jon Cooper, who missed the morning skate Tuesday.
