EDMONTON -- Defenseman Hampus Lindholm scored the first of three third-period goals for the Anaheim Ducks in a 5-3 win against the Edmonton Oilers at Rexall Place on Tuesday.

Lindholm scored at 5:35 of the third to give the Ducks (29-19-8) a 3-2 lead. Andrew Cogliano and Corey Perry score empty-net goals with Oilers goaltender Cam Talbot pulled for an extra skater.

The arena clock in Edmonton inadvertently failed to start upon resumption of play during the second period of the Ducks/Oilers game. At an ensuing stoppage, the Situation Room confirmed that 43 seconds passed between whistles, therefore the clock was re-set to show 9:00 (11:00 elapsed time).

EDMONTON -- L'ailier gauche des Oilers d'Edmonton Taylor Hall se servira d'un nouveau bâton face aux Ducks d'Anaheim, mardi au Rexall Place, dans l'espoir de mettre fin à sa longue disette.

Hall mène les Oilers avec 18 buts et 50 points, mais il n'a inscrit aucun but en 10 matchs et il n'en a marqué que deux au cours de ses 17 derniers matchs.

Les Oilers ont signé une victoire en cinq matchs (1-3-1) et ils se trouvent à 12 points de la deuxième place de quatrième as donnant accès aux séries éliminatoires de la Coupe Stanley dans l'Association de l'Ouest. Hall a récolté deux mentions d'aide dans les sept matchs depuis le retour de l'attaquant recrue Connor McDavid dans l'alignement des Oilers.
