Most Valuable Teacher of the Year
Nareg teaches 5th grade English Language Arts, Math, Science, Health, and Social Studies at Dixie Canyon Elementary School and has been a teacher for five years. Nareg has integrated hockey into his health lessons, focusing on the nutritional and physical health aspects, while also teaching his students about the teamwork and interpersonal aspects of hockey that can improve mental health and build lasting friendships and inclusion. Nareg is dedicated to teaching and genuinely caring for his students by providing a supportive and inspiring environment for everyone.
As the winner of the Future Goals™ Most Valuable Teacher of the Year, Nareg has received a trip to an NHL event!
