Wilson: Komisarek Could Return Next Week

The Leafs had practice Thursday in Florida as they prepared for Friday's game against the Panthers.

After practice, the Leafs announced that Jay Rosehill has been assigned to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL.

With it being Thanksgiving Day in the U.S., following practice the Leafs were going gather in a conference room at their team hotel to eat turkey and watch football.

Head coach Ron Wilson told the media that injured defenceman Mike Komisarek could make his return to the lineup early next week against Buffalo on Monday or Montreal on Tuesday.

Jeff Finger spoke with Leafs TV's Paul Hendrick and was encouraged with the progress with his leg injury and he hopes to be available tomorrow night.

Jonas Gustavsson is expected to the start in net against the Panthers.

The lines for practice remained the same as they did in the game against Tampa Bay.
