(May 13, 2004) -- John Ferguson, general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Thursday that forward Tie Domi underwent successful arthroscopic left hip surgery today.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Marc Philippon, MD at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center at St. John's Margaret's Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Domi, 34, played 80 games for Toronto this past season collecting 20 points (seven goals, 13 assists) with 208 penalty minutes. He appeared in all 13 playoff games collecting four points (two goals, two assists) with 41 penalty minutes.
The native of Windsor, Ontario has played 943 career NHL games collecting 229 points (99 goals, 130 assists) with 3406 penalty minutes.
