TD Toronto Maple Leafs Skate For Easter Seal Kids

"The Toronto Maple Leafs will host The TD Toronto Maple Leafs Skate for Easter Seal Kids on Sunday, November 18, 2001. More than 1,300 skaters will lace up with the Leafs to raise funds for Easter Seal Kids in support of children, youth and young adults with physical disabilities across Ontario.


Each participant has raised $50 minimum in pledges to experience an unforgettable celebrity skate on the ice at Air Canada Centre alongside their favourite Leaf heroes past and present.

TD is committed to supporting the communities it serves. In addition to its sponsorship of The TD Toronto Maple Leafs Skate for Easter Seal Kids, TD supports a host of local, regional and national children's programs across Canada, promoting health, safety and education.

Easter Seals is dedicated to helping children, youth and young adults with physical disabilities achieve their full individual potential and future independence. The Easter Seal Society funds disability solutions through financial assistance, summer camp, research, advocacy, public and consumer education. With your help, we create solutions and change lives.

Go Kids Go! The Leaf Fund is the charitable fundraising arm of the Toronto Maple Leafs and is committed to supporting children's charities as well as important community initiatives throughout Toronto. Each year, Go Kids Go! raises $1 million in support of local charities.

Since its inception in 1982 the Leaf Skate has raised more than $4 million for the Easter Seal Society.
