The 22-year-old was also named to Team North America for the upcoming World Cup of Hockey set to be played from Sept. 17 to Oct. 1 in Toronto.

Canada kicks off their World Championship schedule on May 6 against the United States. The tournament begins on May 6 and concludes on May 22 when both the bronze and gold medal games will be played.
