Purolator Partnership With Maple Leafs To Include Patch On Practice Jersey

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) announced Friday that Purolator will return as the Official Courier and Freight provider of the Toronto Maple Leafs for the next five seasons. Purolator has been the team’s official courier since 2005. As part of the extended partnership the Purolator logo will appear on the front chest of the Maple Leafs practice jersey for the first time in team history.

The Purolator logo will appear on the upper left corner of the team’s practice jersey. The practice jersey will be worn by Maple Leafs players during their Training Camp, all practices and morning skates, both home and away. Toronto joins Calgary, Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia and Tampa Bay as the only teams sporting practice jersey sponsors heading into Training Camp.

Earlier this month, Leafs’ forward Colby Armstrong and defenceman John-Michael Liles rode along with Purolator couriers to help deliver Maple Leafs season tickets to season seat holders. In addition to the Maple Leafs, Purolator has been the official courier of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) and its affiliated sports teams including the Toronto Raptors and Toronto FC for the past six years.

From a marketing perspective, the partnership will provide Purolator with significant branding, advertising and promotional opportunities with Maple Leafs, Raptors, Toronto FC and Toronto Marlies audiences at Air Canada Centre, BMO Field and beyond.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will open their preseason schedule September 19 when they host the Ottawa Senators at Air Canada Centre.
