The Leafs had their final practice today at the MasterCard Centre For Hockey Excellence before heading out on a five-game road trip that begins Saturday in Vancouver.

After having a 3-on-3 tourney on Wednesday, it was back to work Thursday. A few players (Primeau, Orr, Mayers, Rosehill) were out on the ice early working with assistant coach Keith Acton.

Jonas Gustavsson took part in his first full practice since suffering his groin injury against the Ottawa Senators. Vesa Toskala left the ice after 20 minutes as he makes his way back from a knee injury.

After practice Gustavsson spoke with the media about his chances to play in Vancouver.

"I feel better than yesterday and better than a couple days ago," he said after practice. "We can step it up tomorrow and go 100 per cent and just try and be in good shape again because when you're off the ice for two weeks, you need some time to get going again.

"I'm not sure about Saturday. We'll see what happens."

Here were the lines at practice:

Alexei Ponikarovsky - Mikhail Grabovski - Jason Blake
Viktor Stalberg - Matt Stajan - Niklas Hagman

Jay Rosehill - Phil Kessel - Nikolai Kulemin
