Pink Ribbon Night

by Staff Writer / Toronto Maple Leafs

As part of the 10t anniversary of Hockey Fights Cancer, The Toronto Maple Leafs are once again partnering with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to present Pink Ribbon Night on Saturday, October 13th.

The Toronto Maple Leafs and Calgary Flames will sport pink ribbons on their helmets to show their support for creating a future without breast cancer.  Breast Cancer Foundation volunteers and the Lady Leafs will offer ribbons to the fans, collect donations, and provide information about the Foundation and the fight against breast cancer.

Hockey fans from coast to coast can participate in Pink Ribbon Night by bidding in an online auction that goes live at 7:00pm on October 13th.

Many great limited edition and collectable items will be available in the online auction. All proceeds from the auction will go directly to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. The Auction closes Monday, October 22nd 2007.

  • Hockey auction items: Authentic autographed game worn player helmets, team signed Pink Maple Leaf jerseys, Matt Stajan to come to you hockey practice, Pink Hockey Fights Cancer Ties worn and signed by the coaches and on-air personalities.
  • Other Great Auction Items: Hbc custom-made ottoman, pink ribbon skies, pink ribbon snowboard, Wilson Hope full piece golf set and bag, and pink ribbon fishing rod and reel. These items plus many more available!

Wear pink to the game or watch it on television, and support your Maple Leafs as they lace up the blades for this great cause!
