If you can't watch NHL stars skating on the Air Canada Centre ice why not become the star and hit the ice yourself!
That's right, the Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey Club is opening the doors to Air Canada Centre on Friday October 22, 2004 and you can take to the ice yourself with your family and friends, absolutely free of charge.
The day will be broken up into 45-minute skating sessions starting each hour on the hour with no more than 250 individuals on the ice at a time. The skates will run from 9 am to 9 pm and the ice will be flooded between each session and remember, it's all free!
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and we cannot guarantee a spot on the ice. Skaters are requested to enter through Gate 1 (inside the concourse, off Bay St.). Upon entry, you will receive a colour-coded wrist band designating the session for which you may skate.
The event is presented by the New Mojo Radio -- 640 Toronto in cooperation with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Ltd..
