The Maple Leafs' leading point-getter has had recurring back problems since injuring it last season.
He played last Tuesday after sitting out two games, and a collision with teammate Nik Antropov during the 3-1 loss to Philadelphia resulted in Mogilny missing games Friday in Buffalo and at home Saturday against Colorado - both losses.
"I made a mistake coming back like that after just one practice," he says.
Toronto plays Wednesday in Carolina and Thursday in Atlanta.
"I'm not sure I can play the next two either but I definitely will be travelling with the team," Mogilny told the Toronto Sun. "I'm proceeding with caution.
"We're coming up to the final push heading into the end of the season and I must be healthy and ready to go after that."
